Sitting within a heritage context on a highly visible corner site, this collection of three large townhouses appears as two, creating a high yield for our long-time collaborating developer Ferndale. The subtle raking roof forms echo the tiled pitches on surrounding houses, allowing the dense forms to sit comfortably behind generous gardens and within the old street scape.
A delicate screened façade wraps the dynamic forms, creating a veil of privacy to the street whilst allowing a dramatic play of light throughout the interiors. A careful balance of warmth and sophistication with a distinct individual personality defines the interior design. Each unit has its own unique floor plan, designed to maximise its passive opportunities to create a highly sustainable medium density development project.
The project was sold out within the first days of going to market which is testament to the quality of product that Splinter Society Architecture and Ferndale have become known to deliver in the residential development sector.
