This month, a substantial bespoke residence reached completion of construction, marking an exciting milestone with handover to the client and builder Ferndale VIC. Organised around a spiralling plan, the home is formed in in situ concrete across three levels, creating a continuous spatial ascent.
At the lower level, a planted terrace establishes the base of the home, with mature trees extending through and intersecting multiple floors, strengthening the connection between architecture and landscape.
At the ground level, a pool pavilion and barbecue area connect to expansive open living spaces, establishing a strong relationship between indoor and outdoor life. Above, private rooms are paired with elevated gardens and framed views toward the city, as the diagonal spiral of the home continues its upward progression through space.
