Hawthorn Gable House

The Hawthorn Gable House, designed by Splin­ter Soci­ety, is cur­rent­ly on the market. 

Com­plet­ed in 2023, the design is an adap­tive reuse of a tra­di­tion­al bun­ga­low house which has been ful­ly reap­point­ed. The archi­tec­tur­al exten­sion extrap­o­lates a high pitched clay tile roof line from the orig­i­nal home in the front of the prop­er­ty. This cre­ates an archi­tec­tur­al tran­si­tion from her­itage to mod­ern. The clean rear geom­e­try is soft­ened with the intro­duc­tion of lush land­scap­ing by Eck­er­s­ley Gar­den Architecture.
