We are pleased to share that our project, the Newburgh Light House, has received an Honourable Mention in the Multi-Residential Building category at the 2025 INDE.Awards. Hosted by Indesign Media, the INDE.Awards celebrate design excellence across the Asia Pacific, recognising projects that contribute to innovation, sustainability, and quality of life on a global stage.
Located in Auburn Village, Newburgh Light House delivers a sustainable housing model for 21 residents across 10 levels on a compact 150m² site beside a historic train station. With no street access and a north façade abutting VicTrack land, the design addressed complex challenges around fire, acoustics, light, and structural stability. The solution was a mini-tower with one residence per floor, using glass block façades to meet fire and daylight requirements while creating a lantern-like presence to the public realm.
